The National Peace Corps Association launched the new online collaboration initiative to catalyze new ideas for Africa’s agricultural development. 

Share your plan now – Africa Rural connect wants your innovations for agribusiness, communication, post-harvest losses and water resources, even if it's just the seed of an idea.  On August 15th, the close of the first round of the contest, the top 3 plans will be selected and will receive awards as follows:

1st place: $3,000

2nd place: $2,000

3rd place: $1,000

Grand Prize: The Grand Prize winner will be selected by the Panel of Judges in November 2009. The winner will receive $20,000 to help implement the winning plan.  Contributors will also receive a meeting with members of development agencies to discuss implementation strategies.
